He had dedicated himself to the cause of the people and was rendering relentless professional services to the victims of violence. Shaheed Abdul Qadir Sailani Advocate by his commitment to the peoples cause will remain always in the thoughts and hearts of the freedom loving people of the J&K in general and in the minds of the members of the Bar Association in particular. The Bar Association expresses its concern that past 16 years the occupied authorities have neither registered an FIR in the gruesome killing nor any investigation has taken place till date which reflects total legal breakdown and administrative anarchy in the state of J&K. The killers are at large at whose hands since then it is hard to access how many innocents would have lost lives at their hands. In the meeting it was observed that Kashmir is an international issue which deserves to be resolved and calls for a referendum to achieve durable peace in the south Asian region. At this movement the Bar Association while remembering the martyrs appeals the people of J&K to forge unity among their ranks and file.
